The Sun, traveling through Leo this month, emboldens us to shine brightly and reveal more of who we really are to those around us — until the 22nd, when it enters Virgo and we consider where the lines are that separate us. The full moon/lunar eclipse on the 5th in Aquarius elucidates new openings for gifting ourselves to the tribe. The new moon on the 20th in Leo invites us to look within and find courage to come out of hiding.
Venus in Cancer opposes Pluto in Capricorn on the 1st as we put feelings first. Mercury enters Virgo on the 2nd, allowing us to see more clearly just where we might lose ourselves in communications with others. Mars in Gemini squares Saturn in Virgo on the 10th, nudging us out there to explore others and life while maintaining the boundaries needed for healthy contact. Mars trines Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune (all in Aquarius) from the 13th through the 17th, infusing our collective quest for greater spiritual understandings in the midst of a changing world. Mercury conjuncts Saturn in Virgo on the 17th and then enters Libra on the 25th as we turn to communicate from healthier and higher places. Mars enters Cancer on the 25th and Venus enters Leo on the 26th and we collectively move to balance male and female energies in new ways.

LEO (July 23-August 22) — Happy birthday, Leo! This is a time of releasing and allowing. By doing so, you are letting what is underway come into being and fruition. When we do work to set things in motion, we often must then shift our orientation, step aside and relax, in order to create space for the new.
VIRGO (August 23-Sept. 22) — You work from a place of great focus now, Virgo. You tune out so that you can tune in and work with your own energy uninterrupted.
