The photographic and fiber arts works of artists John Gustinis and Joan Jensen are on display in "Photos and Fibers," an exhibit at thetheatregallery at the Black Box Theatre. An opening wine-and-cheese reception for the artists will be held at the gallery in conjunction with the Downtown Ramble on Dec. 5, 5-7 p.m. This is the first joint show for these artists, who met in San Francisco in 1971 and moved to Las Cruces in 1976 and studied art at NMSU. 430 Downtown Mall. The Deming Arts Council will kick off the holidays with a Tannenbaum Festival and Holiday Open House, Dec. 3, 3-6 p.m., featuring entertainment by Veronika Barnes and Jemima Sanchez. Santa arrives at the arts council on Dec. 13, 1-3 p.m., and an evening of hot chocolate, cookies and caroling will be held Dec. 19, 6-8 p.m. Gallery hours are Tues., Weds., Fri. and Sat., 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Thurs. 12-6 p.m. 100 S.
