Deming Goes Quackers

Everything's ducky in Deming again this month, as the 28th annual Great American Duck Race, Aug. 23-26, gets off and running with a movies theme. The "It's Showtime" theme, reflected in this year's logo by Gabe Dominguez, will also inspire costumes and floats and be used in judging the Duck Royalty Pageant and the Tournament of Ducks Parade.

The schedule for this year's event was tentative at press time; see www.demingduckrace.com, email info@demingduckrace.com or call toll free (888) 345-1125, or locally 544-0469.
