Dr. Richard Sellars, a regional historian with the National Park Service in Santa Fe will be here to discuss his book, Preserving Nature in the National Parks: A History. This publication was the chief catalyst for a nearly $100 million multi-year budget increase by Congress to revitalize natural resource management and science in the national parks.
